chronic (what?) cles of narnia
saw narnia friday night for the first time with lise. it was good. enjoyable.
only thing that bugs me (more like "distracts me") is poorly done computer graphics. i was fine until the beavers and aslan. it was STILL a good movie - that was just distracting.
the chronicles of narnia rap still makes me chuckle. a lot.

Now I was impressed with the quality of the computer graphics. Particularly if the compare them with movies from a few years ago (LOTR excluded). And after watching the Chronicles of Narnia, BBC version (done in the 80's), the movie's effects ROCKED!!

i would tend to agree with you except that i think LOTR & The Matrix (and sequels) show what is possible - it's a high (and expensive) standard.
this isn't to say that either of these movies had perfect computer graphics, but it wasn't as distracting as Narnia.

i'll agree that some of the effects could have been better......although, i will say that the stone table scene when Aslan is being shaved/killed, was really well done...i think the lighting had alot to do with that. But you must admit that cg beavers are far better than people in beaver suits (ie-BBC version from like the late 70's)
actually i just realized that this jm person already mentioned that.....so kudos and hats off that somebody else has actually seen those.
